Job Description

We are a EdTech company where we bring together tutors and pupils. We have a matching algorithm in place and are looking for a senior data engineer who can pick up our raw data and can translate it to our required product features, communication materials and put in place controls on behaviour on the platform.

Current Setup

We are a team of approximately 25 people and active in the Netherlands and Germany. Our organization is very product driven. Our Dev team consists out of 8 people of which 1 QA tester and 1 site relaibility engineer. Our infra runs on AWS and our front end is build with Angler as we had plans to create a mobile app.

Why We Need You

Our co-founder is a brilliant mind and has studied econometronics. He has looked at the raw data quite a few times to identify indicators or markers which we can use in our proposition and communciation.

Outcome

We’re looking for a data strategist, data scientist and data engineer all combined into one 😉

Our goal is to create actionable outcomes which we can translate into our communication and processes.

Profile We Are Looking For

  • Able to start with a design sprint to determine the challenges and determine the required information.
  • Pick up the data and run several experiments.
  • If succesfull and logical, role these out on a larger scale.
