Amsterdam, 9 October 2024 – 10x.team, the Ultimate Fractional Professional Platform, has appointed two industry heavyweights– Alexander Adema as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Bart Koetsier as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). These strategic hires come as 10x.team rapidly scales its operations following its early demonstration of product-market fit, which secured €1 million in seed funding from founders and (former) executives of Adyen, Euro-Rijn, Brand New Day, Ohpen, Narwhal Investments and Valtech.
Alexander Adema, formerly of IT staffing organization Vibe Group and Malt, played a key role in helping Malt establish a strong presence in the Netherlands, contributing to the company’s expansion into new markets. Malt, a leading European freelance consulting marketplace, has raised over €134 million to date and is on track to reach a €1 billion turnover by the end of 2024 giving him a head start for his position at 10x.Team.
Bart Koetsier was the first commercial hire at Lepaya, where he built out the sales development teams and established a partner network growing with the company from being employee number 7 to 300+ plus. His leadership contributed to Lepaya’s rapid growth, which raised $80 million in total funding, and positioning the company as a significant player in the HR tech space. Bart’s extensive experience in scaling sales operations will further enhance 10x.team’s efforts to drive growth.
“One of the most challenging aspects of growing a startup is scaling the commercial side of the business,” said Angelique Schouten, founder of 10x.team. “I see this repeatedly with the startups we are asked to help, and it’s a common concern echoed by private equity and venture capital investors. Many companies that reach product-market fit fail to scale commercially, with over 50% of startups failing within five years due to difficulties in managing this phase.”
10x.team, having established product-market fit early in its journey, is now poised to scale its operations and team to meet growing market demand for its innovative platform. The platform already serves leading companies like InShared, Kempen Van Lanschot, ParkBee, Bijles Aan Huis and Mobility Concept.
